5550-5552 - Polished Aluminum Oil Tanks

Polished aluminum oil tanks for tube frame Buell models. Holds more oil than the stock tank, exact amount varies. Provides better cooling through increased conduction and surface area. Does NOT have a dipstick, but it's pretty easy to check the oil level by peering down in the hole. M2/S3 tank shown.

Note: The manufacturer mirror polishes these. But the aluminum is not anodized and is relatively soft, and they will not hold the mirror polish well. They acquire some light surface scratching during shipping, and will need occasional re-polishing when on your bike. It is virtually impossible to obtain a mirror polish by hand, only a buffing machine can do that. We guaranty that there will be no deep scratches or gouges in the tanks, but light surface scratching is pretty much a given with these.
