17390 - Regulator Output "77" Connector pair, 03-07 XB

Voltage Regulator 77 Connector Replacement Kit for 03-07 XB Models. All 03-07 XBs have a inferior 77 connector (the one between the regulator and the battery) that develops contact resistance over time. This develops heat, which melts the connector body and further increasing contact resistance. Left unchecked, it eventually results in a poor grounding path for the shunt regulator, and burns up the regulator. Replace that connector with this updated connector BEFORE the regulator blows. Includes both sides of the connector and the contacts. Note: Looking into the face of the Voltage Regulator 12V OUTPUT connector, with the latch UP, Ground is on the left, Hot (12V) is on the right. They SHOULD have made the hot wire RED, but they made both black.
