16124 - Ceramic Coated Exhaust Header Set, 1125 Series

Ceramic Coating for Buell 1125R Headers. High Luster Silver is the default color, Satin Black is available for an additional charge. Coated inside and out. Doesn't blue or corrode, improves exhaust scavenging by retaining heat in the exhaust gasses until the pipe exit. Send us your headers if you want us to coat yours. We may have one already coated, ready to send, for a core charge, refundable when your structurally perfect pipe is returned to us. Bluing/discoloration is fine, dents or gouges are not. Core worthiness is subject to our approval, non-structurally perfect pipes will be returned and core charge not refunded. While some have mounted these without rotating the engine down, I dont recommend it. While the engine is rotated down, line the frame with 16130 Thermotec Heat barrier for even greater thermal protection. New Exhaust gaskets are recommended.

Note: Silver is FAR better at making a cooler running, more comfortable bike. Black looks badass, but silver works much better.

Note: You must order both the 16124 and either the 2008 or 2009 core options if you want us to send a coated header set to you. If you don't order a core, we'll assume you are sending us your headers for coating.
